It has been very quiet on the mothing front these last few weeks in the garden, so much so that I haven't bothered trapping as regularly as last month.
I put the trap out on Thursday and was rewarded with a garden first Winter Moth, one I missed out on in 2012 (because of the horrific winter) and 2013 (because of wet weather).
Left all night I got just one extra moth, an Emmelina monodactyla.
I am frantically updating all of my moth records through excel presently so that is keeping me busy.
I would like to wish all of my followers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
