Unfortunately, 2 of the 4 moths were in an awful state.
The Double-striped Pug looked like it had been badly affected by the recent high winds, I tried to re-arrange it's wings but with no luck.
The Dotted Border was found dead in a spider's web and all screwed up!
The third new for year species was the common Acleris schalleriana, which was difficult to photo in the dark conditions today.
The fourth moth in question was just as welcome, only my third garden record of Early Moth (After the second just a few weeks ago).
Warning... the pictures aren't pretty!
Garden species count for 2019 now upto 11.
