Plenty of day-flying moths still present in my garden during the sunny, if breezy conditions.
I counted 2 Pyrausta aurata and 3 Adela reamurella, the latter looking past their best now.
I also netted a rather windblown Parornix species, comparing it to the one I had dissected two weeks ago, it is probably the same species (Parornix carpinella). I have retained for gen det to be sure.
No walk today as I felt like the breeze would have dashed my chances of actually successfully netting anything, and the trap remains off since Sunday night as we are in for a cold one tonight.
